Rat basophilic leukemic cells were treated with different concentrations of Clinacanthus nutans ethanolic and aqueous extracts for 24 h and the cell viability was calculated on the untreated cells in percentage. Data were presented as mean ± standard error of the mean (n = 3). At all concentrations tested, rat basophilic leukemic cell viability was more than 80% except for 100% aqueous extract at 8mg/ml which showed 65% viability, but it was not significant when compared to the untreated cells,P ≥ 0.05
