A549 cells (2 × 106 mL-1) were treated with 36 μg/ml of chalepin at various time points (0, 1, 2, 4 and 6 h), after which the cell nuclear extracts were prepared and 30 μg of protein was resolved by 10% sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis gel, electrotransferred onto nitrocellulose membranes, and probed for phosphorylated p65, p65, phosphorylated IKβα, and IKβα.
